David Murgittroyd is proud to be a founding member of StrangeDog Theatre Company. After winning the KCACTF Irene Ryan Acting Award in 2006, he spent a year at The Shakespeare Theatre Company under Michael Kahn and Gale Edwards: Hamlet (Horatio), Titus Andronicus (Martius), Richard III (Tyrell), and The Beaux’ Stratagem (Servant). New York: The Day the Music Died (Paul), Virilia (Stu), The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Aslan/various), and The Montana Ranch (A), which then proceeded to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. David has also performed regionally, and under StrangeDog: Bootstraps (Mike), suburbia (Tim), films of Kill Your Friend (Ted) and Virilia (Stu), and various others. FILM/TV: The Fugitive Chronicles (Don Wills), Gossip Girl, and Boardwalk Empire (director Martin Scorcese). David is also a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
